A Place to Nest - Moe's Garden

A Place to Nest - Moe's Garden

Saratoga Springs, NY
Organic/toxin-free, Fruit/vegetables

Our gardens are on a small city lot. We have utilized the space for small shrubs, perennials, herbs, and vegetables, with very little lawn. We have introduced various plants of our interest: some from grandparents, some from other gardeners, and some from childhood memories of lilacs, violets, and lily of the valley. I feel that in sharing plants, your garden flourishes. We created raised beds for quite an array of vegetables, and then intermingled tomatoes with perennials. I really enjoy collecting my own seeds and find that the plants do even better the following season, acclimating to their own environment. It is such a pleasure sitting on the front porch, and walkers will comment on how beautiful the gardens are. I am grateful to be able to share this with them.

This garden's estimated size is 60 × 100 feet.
