“Plant Marriage” Counseling at Chase Garden
On Sunday, May 17, Northwest horticultural expert Marianne Binetti will bring plant marriage counseling to the Chase Garden in Orting, WA. She will present a talk on “Beautiful Plant Marriages: Compatible bedmates, attractive couples, and long-lasting relationships in your landscape and container gardens,” at 11 a.m. The presentation will cover both traditional and non-traditional plant marriages.
Marianne Binetti is the author of ten gardening books; writes a syndicated weekly column that runs in the Tacoma News Tribune and Daily Olympian, among other newspapers; and hosts a weekly TV show, "Dig In Seattle.”
“Beautiful Plant Marriages” will take place outdoors against a backdrop of flowering rhododendrons, anemones, other rare and native Northwest plants as Chase Garden approaches full spring glory. The garden’s towering woodland and majestic view of Mount Rainier complete the setting.
