The McNab Garden
Mount Pleasant, SC
The formal front garden features six varieties of Japanese Maples and traditional Southern plants, including: Azaleas, Camellias, Boxwood Hedges, Roses, and Agapanthus. The path to the rear garden is highlighted by a custom lattice wall and espaliered Podocarpus. The rear garden is divided into three rooms: a formal patio with a fountain and Boxwood Parterres, a middle garden with a sunny colorful perennial bed, and a shady garden full of interesting textures. The last room has a place for the Golden Retriever to catch balls, a magnificent Live Oak and raised beds with custom-made copper tuteurs. The house is situated on two corners and has a long streetscape, providing color and interest all-year long.
