Grummons Desert Garden

Kelly's garden is a career-long effort to demonstrate the possibilities of the beauty and favorable aesthetic of the low-water garden to other gardeners. His garden features numerous mature specimens of yucca, agave, perennials, grasses, and numerous cactus species. A great number of the garden's plants are varieties that Kelly developed, tested, and introduced in the Plant Select program over the last twenty-plus years. The extensive gardens are complemented with vegetable and fruit varieties and five greenhouses full of cacti. The lawn areas feature the super low-water turf grass 'Dog Tuff' that was introduced by Kelly through the Plant Select program.
