Vicki Johnson bio

Greenwood Gardens, a 28-acre public garden and historic site in Short Hills, NJ, is a longtime preservation partner of the Garden Conservancy. Greenwood is undertaking a massive restoration project to restore historic pools, fountains, gardens, statuary, and vistas and to improve the visitor's experience. The entire main axis of the garden has been redesigned based on historic designs and archival photographs, while accommodating modern needs. The garden has been closed to the public since construction began in 2019. Vicki Johnson, Greenwood's communications & marketing associate, is chronicling some of the behind-the-scenes developments as the garden transforms itself in anticipation of reopening in September 2020.
