Andrea Filippone & T Fleisher short bio

Since 2009, architect Andrea Filippone and her twin daughters have been sharing Jardin du Buis in Pottersville, NJ, through Open Days. She has transformed an eighteenth-century dairy farm on 35 acres into a remarkable series of buildings, courtyards, and gardens. Organic and ecologically savvy practices govern the maintenance of the entire property.

Andrea now partners with her husband, sustainable landscape guru Eric "T." Fleisher, in F² Environmental Design. For more than 25 years, T served as director of horticulture for Battery Park City Parks Conservancy and, while a Loeb Fellow at Harvard, convinced that university to adopt organic landscape management practices. Andrea and T are sharing their experiences and natural approach in working in their garden.
