About

Our garden is 2-1/2 acres within a tranquil woodland setting. The landscape is adorned with a diverse array of mature trees and shrubs, creating a lush and verdant environment. The inclusion of native plants such as Trillium, Clintonia, ferns, and Arisaema adds a touch of natural elegance, blending seamlessly with the surrounding woodlands. As you meander through the garden, you'll encounter pockets of shade adorned with enchanting perennials like Astilbe, Heuchera, Primula, Cimicifuga, and Hosta. The shrubs, including peonies, hydrangea, viburnum, and rhododendrons, bring a sense of volume and structure to the landscape, further enhancing the visual appeal. A carefully chosen assortment of trees, such as Japanese maple, dogwood, and miniature ginkgo, adds height and character to the garden, creating a harmonious blend of foliage throughout the seasons. Strategically placed sitting areas invite visitors to pause and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. Winding paths guide guests through the garden, encouraging exploration and discovery. Along the journey, one may come across a small waterfall at the pond, its gentle cascade contributing to the soothing ambiance of the landscape. The careful placement of statues, urns, and other ornaments adds a touch of artistry and personality to the outdoor space. These decorative elements, whether nestled among the foliage or strategically positioned along the paths, serve as focal points and contribute to the overall charm of the garden.

This garden’s estimated size is 2-1/2 acres.
