An Unexpected Oasis in Brookfield

Brookfield, WI

The Garden Conservancy Preservation Partner Garden

About

Jeff has designed his gardens to encourage the viewer to sit, relax and enjoy. Jeff largely does all the gardening himself, with an assist from wife Patty, so he is not doing a lot of sitting and relaxing—but he is always enjoying.

Jeff’s goal is to have something of interest throughout the garden from early Spring to Fall. Perennials abound, with a touch of annuals for added color throughout the seasons in this suburban garden. Waterfalls and a lily pond add to the gardens’ calming atmosphere.

Whimsical, French, Japanese, native plant and Chihuly-like glass sculpture themes are incorporated into the various gardens. Come and enjoy, while getting some wonderful ideas as you contemplate your garden plans for next year and beyond!

This garden's estimated size is .7 acres.

This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: To access the main part of the garden, visitors either have to climb a 5-step stairway with a hand rail, or walk up a grass incline.
